| Rites of Passage is the voice of young women coming of age in the San Francisco Bay Area. Rites of Passage is by and for young women. We ask all the questions young women are thinking about. Our guests discuss the difficult issues that we face and offer solutions and resources. By looking at the intersections of gender, race and class Rites strives to bend and twist the fabricate of TV, by creating an honest and radical young women’s program.
Rites of Passage believes it is essential to have a space for young women to share, learn and grow into their potential. We are currently developing a pre-production critical thinking curriculum and a post-broadcast campaign.
